The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards air Monday, September 14, 2026 at 8:00 PM ET on NBC and Peacock, live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Below is a complete ballot covering all 25 categories in the main telecast and all 142 nominees. Print the page, hand one to every guest, and whoever gets the most picks right wins. No email signup, no watermark, nothing to buy.

Scoring

One point for every correct pick. 25 points available. Total the column at the end and read the standings out loud, because saying the scores out loud is most of the fun.

Two optional house rules that make it better:

• Weight the big six. If your group has strong opinions, make Comedy Series, Drama Series, Limited Series, and the four lead acting categories worth two points each. It keeps the night competitive through the final award.
• A mercy rule. Anyone who has seen none of the nominees gets to pick one category on vibes alone and still counts. It keeps casual guests in the game instead of checked out by the third award.

Where paper starts to hurt

Printed ballots are great for a small group in one room. They stop working in three specific situations.

Someone has to tally. With more than eight ballots, one person spends the ceremony doing arithmetic instead of watching. That person is usually the host.

Remote friends are out. A printed ballot cannot include the friend watching from another city, which is where half of most group chats live.

Nothing enforces the deadline. If a ballot comes in late, you are relying on the honor system in a game with prizes.

Why is it on a Monday? The ceremony moved off its usual Sunday slot for this year's broadcast schedule. Plan for a weeknight party, which usually means an earlier food service and a shorter guest list.

How many categories are on the ballot? 25, covering everything handed out during the main telecast. Craft and technical awards are presented separately at the Creative Arts Emmys and are not on this ballot.
